Material Insights Newsletter Relaunch
Prior to joining Material ConneXion, their newsletters lacked consistency and strategy. I relaunched the newsletter as “Material Insights” which is a bi-weekly guide to not only the happenings at Material ConneXion but the material and sustainable design world at large. Additionally, the newsletter serves as a consistent lead generation strategy where I have also templatized monthly downloads that our subscribers have come to expect from us - closing the sales loop and garnering additional industry clout.
The Result:
25% increase in list growth
116% increase in click rate growth.
What I do:
Redesigned the newsletter including new branding.
Plan all content for the newsletter both internally and externally with agencies for content collaborations as lead-gen downloads.
Created a new to Material ConneXion lead generation strategy.
Design the lead generation forms as well as downloads to be consistent with the Material ConneXion brand.
Lead Generation Strategy
At Material ConneXion, I have implemented a lead generation strategy tied to the Material Insights newsletter that teases content to their subscription-based platform. Additionally, I have executed content collaborations that yield in additional downloads and a cross-promotional effort, furthering Material ConneXion as an industry expert.
The Result: Since creating and implementing the lead-generation downloads, there has been an increase of booked meetings by 30% YTD.
What I do:
Design and implement the lead generation forms and downloads
Collaborate with the research department to ideate additional topics
Find and reach out to organizations who would like to collaborate and ideate topics. Once a topic is agreed upon, I write briefs for the research department and project manage our collaboration.
